Wyndham Resort Torquay, Torquay

The resort is situated in a fabulous location right by the beach, which I absolutely loved. My room was spacious and well-equipped, offering great comfort during my stay. However, the dining experience was a bit frustrating, as my breakfast was not properly communicated to me, leading to some unnecessary expenses. While the amenities were decent, there were a few disappointments that detracted from the overall experience.

I recently stayed at Beachfront Resort Torquay, and overall, it was a much-needed retreat. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and the beautiful surroundings facilitated great walks. The rooms were modern and clean, but the view from mine did leave a lot to be desired as it mostly overlooked the driveway. While I enjoyed the relaxing spa, I found the dining options limited and a bit disappointing. I also noticed some room amenities could be improved for a more convenient stay.

Wyndham Torquay offers a beautiful escape by the ocean, with clean rooms and great access to the beach and surfing spots. We enjoyed the comfort of our ground-floor room with a patio, but found the dining options a bit lacking since the main restaurant was closed. While the location is fantastic for beach walks and has a village-like atmosphere, some facilities could use improvement, particularly regarding parking during peak times. Overall, it felt like a cozy retreat, although I would have preferred a full kitchen in my original booking.

My stay at the resort was a mix of positives and negatives. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making my experience enjoyable, and the rooms were quite comfortable. However, my sleep was disturbed frequently due to noise from nearby guests, and the pool and spa were disappointingly cold, making them unusable during my stay. Overall, it's a decent spot, but not ideal for a peaceful getaway.

My stay at this resort was lovely overall, with a beautiful beach just across the road and a nice walk to town.
